Re: ABIE American Baby International English, Liaoyang Center

I agree. Maybe it is time for Turnoi to go back to school. I normally don't care if someone makes spelling or grammar mistakes in their posts, because who has time to edit. However, if you go out of your way to point people out then you better be on your game little boy (Turnoi). BTW i dont care about my grammar or spelling in these posts so little boy can forget about using that to retaliate.

I am waiting for a productive response from little boy as to how to make things better. Maybe he doesn't have any real input. Maybe he is just trolling this website trying to deter people from coming to China. It breaks his heart that a lot of folks end up here and have great experiences to take with them and don't walk away with a horror story from China that he always warns about.

Also quite a few foreigners speak and read Chinese, this isn't the 1980s where you are the only one little boy. In this day and age you can get further in China being a quality educator than just some lao wai that knows Chinese and can spout off a few Chengyu to impress Chinese folks.

Non-native speaker is correcting a native speaker, the latter being [edited] It's "wide off".

Hate to break it to you, but it's wide of the mark! A well known English idiom! Perhaps you should check things like this on google before you start pointing fingers in future; it would save you the embarrassment of me correcting you again! Shouldn't an experienced tertiary professor of linguistics know GIS idioms a little better? I do hope you haven't been teaching your poor students "wide off"?! Or is your descriptive grammar now also being applied to idioms?!

Just so we're on the same page and to hopefully avoid the inevitable assertion to the contrary...

I'm really beginning to think I should be charging you for all of these free lessons! :D
