Those people shouldn't be allowed to teach. Teaching to fund a holiday, not because you are passionate about teaching, does not make you a teacher, it makes you a fake.

Oh yes you should have the attitude that whereas the teaching position will be good for you, you will do your level best to teach the students good English, otherwise in any event you will not do well (for yourself even) and it will end badly. Certain satisfaction from any job where you can say I've earned a crust of bread and done a good job. i think our learned friend just wants to get his hands on the nubiles and sod the students.
