They do indeed but wot about his savage attacks on me an innocent poster. I am feeling left out? Let's ask the man himself and give him a chance to curry some favour either way. That might have something to do with claiming to be retired to the country and the academic dean of a university at the same time.And the constant pimping of a translation of an obscure and worthless work of Chinese medicine on an ESL/EFL site, all in the interest of personal validation.
Not to mention the idiosyncratic use of English words such as ontology.
Oh, and let's not forget that he's an expert in linguistics with a doctorate, who hangs out on EFL teaching boards, since apparently no one in high-level linguistics wants to talk to him.
Don't forget he's also opening a martial arts school in Switzerland and living in a remote cabin somewhere outside a Chinese city!
And overseeing the thesis of a few of his university students.... you know, at that top notch uni, the epitome of public free education that doesn't charge tuition fees (honest, Guv!) and where the dean (the other one, not Turnoi himself) accepts bribes from failing students to pass them!) the one he is now retired from. Or is dean of. Depends on the day!
Phew! I don't know where he gets the energy (or time!) to google, copy and paste all of the essays he posts on here! We should probably be flattered that he takes time out of his busy schedule for us!!
