Re Metaphysics with a hint of Sufism?

The way I see it is I need to be able to absorb all the costs if it all goes wrong. Trouble is with the best will in the world we don't actually know if these ventures will work.

Yes Yellow Tail isup near the better end of plonks. Today I got a bottle of Kumala Pinotage Shiraz which she will see and 4 bottles (4 for 3) of Campo Viejo to be squirrelled away in the garage and hidden under an oily rag, like any self-respecting boozer would do. I will celebrate this weekend as she has just informed me that her company have sacked her hahaha! She gets to look after the baby. I have had a hard time of it for over a year. When Esther was just 6 weeks her company sent her to China for over 3 weeks and that was the most difficult period of my life. Luckily for me she slept the night through in them days. I have to say it has been an honour but hard.

A proper British Breakfast- also 3 or 4 Chinese dishes that we can do well?

Actually, a very decent idea. An old chinese girlfriends mother offered to help me and her open up such a cafe, her idea was a few western dishes, and some standby laowai friendly chinese classics, egg fried rice, gongbao chicken rice and such. I also suggested it could have doubled as a bar in the evening but then thought better off it.....I'd have to serve as barman cum bouncer dealing with rowdy drunken chinese males. Cafe though is a very good idea....you could even have a selection of plonk?

Haha! All good fun. I hope your busy time is productive and goes smoothly.

What about a western cafe (like the joints you see in Kunming) would that work wherever you are? A proper British Breakfast- also 3 or 4 Chinese dishes that we can do well? I have a couple of pensions so I don't need to make a killing. I am thinking that when Esther gets to five we will be obliged to live in UK. I feel that for her Mandarin and the companionship of other babies China might be good for us to spend the next few years. I could rent the place off here be it ever so humble.
