What does sadden me is that some Chinese who have darker skin always want us to lighten it. We do it of course because that's what they want, but I do say that in the West lots of people go to sunny climates on nholiday to get a suntan - that healthy skin glow that they already have by way of Mother Nature.

Absolutely, there are so many nasty things that could deform you before birth and tone of skin is not one of them. I do find it interesting how some skins are lighter or darker in the same Chinese family though.
