Re Enfly do not want you on a z visa

Yeah it is weird the X visa stuff, maybe inexperienced employees are to blame? Who knows. I just find it amazing that people who have never even worked for Enfly are now ranting and raving about them being "scum" and "scammers" etc. I was told by a friend about the bad press here, so since the word has spread, clearly a lot of people are happy and also many are unhappy with Enfly. I think some posters seemingly hate agencies and assume they are all bad, which isn't true.

Anyone in Chengdu or considering Enfly feel free to get in touch!

Re Enfly do not want you on a z visa

I am not disappointed and I am pleased that you are on the correct visa.

The fact is that when I applied they asked me to effectively turn in my existing legitimate visa for one which is not fit for the purpose intended. Why would they do that? There could be many answers but what is fact and not fiction is that there is no valid reason why a company who can legally hire foreigners would make their work three times as hard. It is far simpler to transfer an existing resident permit that start again from scratch. I really only believe they are dodging something. I even gave them a chance to explain and they gave the farcical answers I quoted.

As I said I have the email correspondence and even the Skype logs with their HR team to prove it. I don't have the time to make up fairy tale stories. It is exactly what happened with me.

Whether you or Joshua or the others that have sprung up like mushrooms are in favour of Enfly, that is your prerogative and I have no wish to interfere with that. What I care about is that they tried to pull a fast one on me and more than likely have succeeded with others. Finally, the comments Joshua made about being only able to be hired by third parties really are a lot of nonsense and as one poster allowed him slack for being new in China, he has not replied and therefore virtually eliminated and possible credibility his posts may have had.

Re Enfly do not want you on a z visa

I am on a Z visa with Enfly and know many others are also, as well as being very happy with Enfly. It really baffles me why there is so much childish name calling here, "weasels/slaves/scumbags" the list goes on. Then I remembered this an internet forum :)

Re Enfly do not want you on a z visa

Reading your post highlighted one major point that none of the posters who suddenly sprung up to defend Enfly mentioned and that is visas.

Not a single mention amongst them about what visa they are actually on! Only that it was 'sorted'! I am not a betting man but I think its odds on few if any are on actual legitimate working visas.

If you are mad enough to apply to this sham of a place, I suggest thats the first thing you address. I would even go to the extent of asking an existing FT to send me a picture of his/her RP with the personal details masked.

What an absolute disgrace to ESL in China.

There is no doubt as to the illegal and pervasive nature of Enfly's tactics in Chengdu. One can only hope that Chengdu Immigration officials receive the same central government scrutiny that Shaanxi received during 2014.

Good post re Enfly,well-written and to the point, but Shaanxi?

The content of your post proves you're not a China defender! Other readers, please take note.

The question is why the government administration of Chengdu is turning a blind eye to it. Enfly's relationships with these officials is apparent.

One can only hope that Chengdu Immigration officials receive the same central government scrutiny that Shaanxi received during 2014.

If that does occur, the owners of Enfly will be headed to airports with their own bogus emigration documents to quickly leave China.

Enfly do not want you on a z visa

I will keep this post short and to the point as no doubt the pro Enfly mob will chip in later.

I have been in China three years, well this is the start of my fourth teaching year. As I like Chengdu I applied with Enfly in July this year. Now at first they were very responsive and very keen for me to get over there. I was in Wuhan at the time so it was not really that far.

I have and always have had resident permits. Now, most schools, universities and even training centres (sorry not my cup of tea) will jump at the chance to employ someone who is in China with existing paperwork as the consequent work that needs to be done is far simpler and much less. This is where Enfly began to show their true colours. Once I mentioned this, they seem to have several 'syntax error' moments and became very evasive when I started asking about what documents they need from my past school to transfer my resident permit.

Forward a little and this is what they wanted me to do, come to Chengdu and 'use up the last days on my RP then we will send you to Hong Kong and we will get you an X2 Student visa which is for 6 months'. When I said no way, this was their reply 'it is easier and cheaper for you and you have more freedom on it'. I politely told them to keep their X2 visa and dropped them like a ton of bricks.

I am now in Chengdu at a Government High School who employ directly so this clearly contradicts what 'Joshua' said. There are six of us at this school and we all are direct hires.

If anyone at Enfly wishes to rebuff what I have said I would happily provide the email correspondence with their 'HR'.

I firmly believe Enfly do not want people on resident permits because they do not have a licence to legally employ foreigners.
