What ever you do, do not go to work for Yi Jian English school in Harbin. Check out this link http://englishschoolwatch.org/notebook.php for many reasons why.
This is a black listed school that has many teachers running away because of the bad treatment they receive. The chinese assistants are treated equally badly. No such thing as human rights here. Avoid at all cost.
