Re: Perlandas - ESL school review

There is a big topic on it in the past, either on this page or the prior. They are not people to get involved with, and they always give the same responses.

Take a look, especially if you are thinking of going to Shenzhen. I would advise against interacting with these clowns.

Thanks,

Re: Perlandas

Please notice that "Ralph" has yet to respond to the suggestion that he is posing as someone that he is actually not. A little more proof that Perlandas is an operation that should be avoided. But really what more proof is needed other than the fact that they continue to promise everything and provide nothing?

There may be a few recruiters in China worth using; however, Perlandas is definitely not one of them.

Re: Perlandas

Get real "Ralph." Who ya tryin' to kid? If indeed you are not a Chinese in the employ of Perlandas posing as an FLT, your poor writing suggests to me that you're playing some other game.

Job seekers be aware that Perlandas has a poor reputation - as many people who have worked with Fenny will testify; furthermore, it is a common ploy for such agencies to write glowing testimonials about themselves. It's usually pretty easy to determine the legitimacy of such posts, as they are often full of errors or just plain don't seem as if they've been written by a native speaker.

I'd bet my last kwai that "Ralph" is not a native speaker. If he is, he's probably not a teacher. If he is a teacher, he needs to go back to school and should stop being a pretender.

Here's your post "Ralph":

"I found a job through them last year, and I am still working at that them same school that they introduced to me. All I have to say is Fenny keep up the good job!"

Ok, "Ralph" prove me wrong. Rewrite the above message in correct English. Also, tell us the name of the school. Give us your email address so that we can verify the legitimacy of this post. When did you first contact Fenny? What was the process? Did she ask you for a recruitment fee? How long did it take for her to get you a position? Were you able to contact the school directly? And oh yes, please tell us how it is that the school was able to communicate with you. I mean, I've never known a school that could effectively communicate. I mean, I talk to my cat now and then and she at least mews back to me. But when I talk to inanimate objects, they just don't seem to answer back. Go figger...............them there things are just to ding dang stubborn.

Will definitely jump on this one too.

Perlandas is just plain ol' bad news...in any of its many guises.

Don't even talk to them!

Re: Perlandas - ESL school review

Yes, these folks like to change their company name so that past injustices and a poor reputation won't limit their ability to recruit the unwary. Fenny thinks she's pretty clever; however, when you put her to the test by asking rational questions about their job offers, her confidence begins to wane. I'm not sure about their current game, but in the past they asked for potential teachers to pay a fee upfront for their services. They like to advertise high paying jobs, mostly in the Shenzhen and Guizhou area, which later prove to be "come - ons."
It's best to avoid these people as they tend to capitalize on the old barb, "A sucker is born every minute."

Re: Perlandas - ESL school review

This salary seemed too high. I wrote some letters to fenny. every response was one or two sentences in length. Very shady and shifty. Usually the contents failed to answer any of my questions and they just kept saying that i should come right away. I knew something was up. Read another post somewhere else that describes how they wont get a visa for you and then will refuse to pay you for work performed. Classy.

Anyone here know more about this group.
