I read these reviews, and a few others, before I was to commence work with this school in September 2010. After looking further into what I had read, I decided to go and find out for myself. I have worked here from September 2010-June 2011.
I can safely say in my experience NONE of the above has happened. This school is a fantastic school to work for, and they have gone over and above from the day I got here. All the teachers throughout the English department, and the rest of the school, are friendly and helpful. The headteacher is a very kind and gentle woman. They have ALWAYS paid me ontime (if not early), the residency permit was organised and paid for in full, the air fare was completely reimbursed, and any problems with the apartment are immediately sorted. This school has given me the best year of my life!
I recommend anyone to work at this school if you want the best experience you possibly could...not to mention being treated like royalty.

I was there in 2009 and they did exactly the same to me - I wish I had read peter's review before I went half way round the world to get abused & ripped off.
The head of the English dept is an evil witch called Sophie
They use an agent called StudentGuardian because no-one else will deal with them

**** Dont work for Foshan experimental school ****
Why...
They dont pay you what they owe you!
They dont provide money for flights
They dont supply Z visa
They hate foreigners
The 'Western style' apartment was a dirty, cock roach infested joke.
They simply ignore the contract.
Do yourself a favour and avoid them...there are plenty of better places to teach
