Kristy, what ya doin' finding teaching posts for expats who can't fulfill your country's eligibility requirements for the FEC certificate? You're breaking your own country's employment laws for foreign teachers. If you didn't do so, there would have been one fewer unqualified expat in China teaching, who supposedly hasn't a clue how to teach here satsfactorily in any event.

Now, my first point re qualifications is objective - there can be no argument about that! But said teacher's prowess is subjective! I personally have been fired in China before being allowed to teach at a crap uni in Linyi of Shandong. Thereafter I moved on to Shanxi, and taught high school with a commendation. The bar isn't level!
Next, another objective assessment - that foreign teacher was breaking Chinese law too, and if she didn't know that, that wouldn't exonerate her - ignorance of the law is no excuse anywhere.

I suggest that instead of blaming Turnoi for being biased, you follow China's employment laws re expat teachers. Then you will have more valid grounds for complaining about what he posts.

Finally, I know that in China recruiters/agents are generally after profit, and some backwater schools can't attract legit teachers in any case. So, schools will flout the law as well as recruiters/agents, and expats who need employment to get expat 'teachers' in front of students.
