So, i go and say gambler and drinker to anyone in this so called forum.
And, go comment bad things about other businesses at eslteachersboard anyway things are not moderated here, right?

On top of that, you cannot specify your visa run dates by yourself - stated in the contract - and same for the director as well. We are working with a big group of teachers so it is not only you doing a visa run but from your post, i assume you sure feel like the world is turning around you:)
So, we plan things, specify a date and send our teachers to a visa run accordingly as we have substitute system means we send a substitute teacher to cover our teachers going for a visa run or leaving their schools for a reason.
So, think about all our 200 teachers want to go to a visa run according to their will! How can we cover their classes? and how can we operate if we even cannot know where our teachers are?
Moreover, AYC pays for visa run so it is our right to say when to go or not.

and, over the years, we have been abused by some teachers calling us sick - and some were at Koh Phangan full moon party! -
So, we have some polices to be sure our teachers are at their schools. You can get a fake medical report for 300 THB - 10 USD in Thailand.
Sad things is, all of them are stated in the contract so clearly you did not read it still signed it so what can we do?
any respected and educated American citizen first reads a contract and signs after that which clearly is not the case for you.

So, you are a good example of problem people we are dealing with at times. People like you could not accomplish things in life and as a teacher in Thailand and once we do not renew a contract, they go and complain about us or some like you go further ahead and start to defame us and tell lies like this guy is gambler and that guy is drinker!
Nothing wrong with that as we have a big turnover but mostly in internet forums, people tend to write negative comments.
As one of the biggest educational organization here in Thailand not only placing teachers but also dealing with lots of other programs, we have nothing to fear from our business practices even though Thailand is not the best place to run a very smooth operation.
