I worked for sendelta consulting at the futian experimental school in shenzhen. Between traveeling 90 mins one way between two schools daily I was getting exhausted real quick. Monday nights I finished at 10:00pm at the science school with a 90 mins subway back to the apartment in futian (school dorm). The next day I have a 7:55 start time it was truly piss poor management. The schools academic manager is horrible Jack is a complete tool. Helen she is still there it took us nearly a day to open my bank account having to go from one branch of the bank of china to begin a new at a next branch. Cute but dumb. The whole sendelta company are administrators not educators. They have more marketing and accountants than I have ever seen. When it came time to paying me they deducted money for everything they could. The finger print in and out recording system docked my office hours and if i was a few mins late for class i lost one and a half days pay. After one month I had to leave. Someone poured dopimine into my water bottle and i drank some of it swallowing my nightly asprin. Immediately I was sure I was drugged. Janet in the other room was asking me if i wanted a blow job then I knew this was arranged. In the morning I was stabilized in the hospital. In china they dont have toxicologists. They have in hong kong but wont carry the sample water bottle across the border. The chinese doctor was sure it was dopimine I was happy to be alive it was pretty scary to say the least not knowing why someone would do this to me. They thought it was one way to get janet this 300 pound ugly fat white old women the head of the candian school laid. So they gave me some date rape shit that just made me trip out and visit the hospital and subsequently leave the school. Dont ever stay in the futian experimental school dormitory everyone has keys to your room and they can go in and out freely. Sendelta isnt a bad company just piss poor management and looking to under pay you at every corner. The staff turnover rate is around 70% per semester not annually. the marketing and assistant (chinese girls) turn over rate is much higher. The owner of Sendelta Dr alex liu has a brother in the shenzhen education bureau so naturally they are more focused about making deals with schools to host there program and focus all there energy there. Everything else is a complete joke. To this day they wont test the left over drugged water. School did a pretty decent investigation just would listen to me, would question Justin or Janet and in the end I said fine I will leave. Justins dad owns part of the company he is a young punk from toronto that thinks he can get away with anything. After what happened to me i guess he is right. Beware my friends beware of sendelta. Lawrence in there zhu hai campus seems to love it there but futian is no good. The science school they have in the far north of the city is pretty good kids are fantastic and the staff quite helpful.

Sendelta puts teachers in public schools to teach AP courses. I think they have some other lines of business too, but this is how I know them. I found an ad for them to teach AP Physics. I went to their office and did a demo, they were very impressed. We talked for a bit and Helen made an offer. I was talking to some other schools so I told them I'd decide soon. I found out some more details about the job. I had to spend one night a week supervising kids during study time. She originally said from 7-9, later it turned out to be 7-10pm. I objected to this but they didn't budge. She begged me to take the job, it was starting soon. I really liked everything else about the job though, so I accepted it.

Then after that we were talking about the housing situation. It was hard to understand what she was saying. I found out it was 13.5k with housing or 15.5 without. But then she was quoting me the prices for the 2 choices of apartmets they had in Zhuhai. Why'd she quote the prices if these were the ones the school would cover? She then told me that the school would cover hotel for one week when I arrived. She called me late at night then to discuss it further, she changed her mind and said that if I got my own housing, they'd only give me a hotel for 2 days when I arrived. I objected to this, mostly because of the way she kept changing her story. I still wanted the job, but I couldn't be at a place that operates like this. We had plans to meet the next day in Zhuhai and sign the contract at the school.

Next day, she's unreachable all morning and half of the afternoon. I call the office, nothing. Eventually she calls me. She said that she left her phone and home so she couldn't call me. Why not call me from your office phone? Too busy with meetings. Obviously none of that made sense, we had plans to meet that day for something very important. Not even an email. Then she told me that she didn't like my objections to her changing her mind all the time, so she didn't want to sign a contract with me. We were supposed to be at the school in Zhuhai at that time signing stuff and getting the books, but I had no notice of this until the middle of the afternoon that day. She told me how urgent it all was and was also angry that I didn't make a decision right away. But once I did, this is how she reacted. I was all packed and ready to go and spent all day wondering what was going on just to find out that they wouldn't take me for this urgent position.
