BTW, the company I was working for as a Senior TEFL Specialist was Helen TEFL China Network
in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. They are agents and did not only failed to pay their
teachers properly; they also screwed them over on purpose and even did not pay me
properlly although they indicated repeatedly that they did not want to lose me. In the
end, they did as I refuse to work for crooks, scammers, scumbags and constant liars. I
know many different stories concerning other agents in China, and the business model
according to which they work is exacrly the same. I know people with similar experiences
they made at your company when it still was posing under another company name years ago.

If you are highly qualified with appropriate teaching and research experience, you don't need
any agents or recruiters; Chinese schools tend to run after you and vituall beg you to
come. That's the difference between FTs working for outfits like Enfly and expats of
that calibre. The world owes you nothing, even not a job, unless your skills are badly
needed.
