Not just the politicians, also BAE.

On the lighter note, I hear the airport police have dropped the 80 quid fine for returning Brit expats chinning a Saudi at heathrow from the kingdom of head choppers....they advise them to take it out on the tea towel heads on oxford road instead!!!!!

If I remember correctly, Labour's secret plans to boost immigration in the U.K in the 90s were leaked a few years ago; as those from minority groups are said to be more likely to vote for left wing parties. A very sneaky tactic, which shows that even democracy can have its flaws. However, now we have the Tories in power; who are just as shit in many other ways.

I consider myself to be a fairly liberal person but must admit that in recent times that certain things have started going a bit too far. America does unfortunately seem to have a bit of responsibility towards the rest of the world due to assuming its 'global policeman' role and also having the privileged position of still being the world's only superpower; which means that they still start the trends that influence the rest of the world. Therefore we will watch what goes on in America and view it with suspicion.

As for closing Mosques; I wouldn't agree with that. But spying on them and gathering intelligence? Preventing Saudi Arabia from funding and opening new mosques influenced by themselves? Maybe. However, many politicians benefit quite a bit from that Saudi oil trade...
