We've all made that mistake when young.

Multiculturalism is a trendy, occasionally useful thing yet it is also massively overrated. Other countries envy the west for a reason. We should focus on continuing to be those very countries that they used to envy and set an example. You cannot do that by attempting to fix something that wasn't even broken to begin with.

I wonder if the west needs to redefine its cultural values, some of the old values are outdated, but some also need to be preserved; we no longer have common ground as a people and are becoming increasingly fragmented. Our enemies will be rubbing their hands with glee.
