Sir,

It seems that you are bored sir (having so much free time uh). Whatever your reasons may be, it only shows how unprofessional you are. Cause if you are PROFESSIONAL you'll know and act better.

With this, i have few friendly reminders:

YOU are only putting yourself on fire (you know what i mean)
you're not that ignorant not to know that you're IDENTIFIED
DON't put the blame on others
Don't sacrifice your proffesion doing something like that!
Just be happy and contented with what you have, and if you want or DESPERATE to be where you would want to be, then show credibility and competency.
KEEP CALM, cause you are OBVIOUS

One only has to look at the behaviour of these people abroad to get an insight into what makes them tick.

Dishonest, greedy and lazy. Any western man who sends money to a girl in the phils is dumb imho

Re: ( Mark Randall Polk) Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

Westfields is a well known pretend school in Pampanga, principal Volet uses fear factor tactics on her staff.
Principal Volet is quite corrupt having to support a unemployed husband, a unemployed fat lazy son and several other family members and offspring.

Volet, vice principal Mila and head teacher Sal have an on-going pending court case for falsifying grades and child abuse.
One would think that they would have learned there lessons about falsifying student grades.

The owner of Westfields Valarie Nepumuceno ,have strong family roots in Angeles owning Nepo Mall and several houses and establishments in Angeles.
She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and knows nothing about education, and she is being robed blind by Volet.

Foreign parents and teachers are employed at (wis) without a proper visa which can land them in a immigration detention center.

The 3 fake main schools in Angeles city,Pampanga are Noblese International School (NIS) which has only 73 students 69 that are Korean.
You may want to Google search " you no worry that" the clowns still running the show.

Saint Paul American (korean) School which is owned by President Shim a well known Korean yakuza. Employed there is the, notorious James Luko aka Serbian Genocide Denier. You should Google search James Luko, Genocide denier and ask yourself if you would want him as your child's teacher?I doubt it!

Westfields is the 3rd pretend crap school in the area.

If you can afford it, send your children to a proper International school in Manila or BRENT in Subic.
Or have your children educated back home,in the UK,US,Canada etc.

Do not educate your children or work for the three above mentioned schools in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Re: ( Mark Randall Polk) Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

When the owner of the school's daughter fails every quiz and test I give, yet gets an 85 recorded for her final average, something is wrong. When the principal's daughter is caught cheating, and you, as the disciplinary head don't hear about it or take action on it, something is wrong. For the record, I don't drink Jack Daniels. And, tell me, how many students from last year's class passed their Cambridge examinations? I can tell you. Out of 9 examinations, there was one passing score.

If anyone especially a teacher is in the middle of a court case for suspected child abuse they should be placed on academic probation.Especially if its the freakin PRINCIPAL.

If certain westfield teachers spank certain children (students), that child did not deserve it and it was not waaay overdue.

In your opinion, there is a whole big list of kids that need there ass whooped, at westfields?

Your kids rarely step out of line, because they were trained by you? ( beaten by you ?)

Did you train your wife as well? Do you whoop her ass Mr. Wice after a night out on the town in Angeles City?

Re Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

SIR,

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, IF YOU ARE GOING TO EVALUATE A SCHOOL, AND POST YOUR EVALUATION ON THE INTERNET FOR THE WORLD TO SEE, AT LEAST HAVE THE COMMON DECENCY TO DO PROPER RESEARCH AND ONLY STATE ACTUAL RELEVANT FACTS.

PHILIPPINES START IN PRE-KINDER (EQUIVALENT TO KINDERGARTEN IN NORTH AMERICA), AND THEY HAVE 11 GRADES, HOWEVER WITH PRE-KINDER AND KINDER, THEN GRADE 1, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF GRADES AS THE NORTH AMERICAN SCHOOLS, AND IF A STUDENT LEAVES THE PHILIPPINES AND GOES TO US OR CANADA, AND (FOR EXAMPLE) THEY ARE IN GRADE 3, WHEN THEY GET TO NORTH AMERICA THEY ARE PLACED IN GRADE 4 IN NORTH AMERICA. I HAVE INTERVIEWED SEVERAL TEACHERS THAT HAVE DONE EXACTLY THIS, WITH FILIPINO IMMIGRANT CHILDREN, AND THEY COMMENT THAT THE KIDS HAVE NO PROBLEM SLIDING RIGHT INTO THE NEW SCHOOL.

THERE ARE SEVERAL FOREIGN TEACHERS THERE, THEY TEACH IN ENGLISH, AND COMPARED TO THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN AC, WESTFIELDS IS DEFINITELY SUPERIOR. THE CHOICES FOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS ARE VERY LIMITED IN THE PHILIPPINES, AND I DOUBT THAT ANY OF THEM MEET THE HIGHER STANDARD THAT MANY FOREIGNERS ARE ACCUSTOMED TO, BUT COMPARED TO THE OTHER AVAILABLE OPTIONS, THEY ARE A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

I HAVE TWO CHILDREN THAT ATTEND THERE, AND I AM QUITE HAPPY WITH THEIR FACILITIES, TEACHERS, AND MANAGEMENT. THEY ARE NOT PERFECT, AND IN A COUNTRY WHERE CORRUPTION IS A WAY OF LIFE, YOU ARE COMPARING APPLES TO ORANGES IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A FURST WORLD STANDARD OF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL...

FURTHERMORE, I WOULDN'T BE SO HASTY TO CONVICT SOMEONE WHO IS IN THE MIDDLE OF ANY COURT CASE. ESPECIALLY IN A WORLD WHERE THE SLOW CHILDREN ARE JUST FORCED THROUGH THE SYSTEM ANYWAY, I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT THE FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS HAVE ANY REAL SUBSTANCE WORTH SPENDING MONEY ON LAWYERS.

AS FAR AS CHILD-ABUSE GOES, CHILDREN HAD A LOT MORE RESPECT FOR THEIR ELDERS BACK WHEN TEACHERS WERE ALLOWED TO SPANK OR STRAP THE KIDS, I KNOW IT KEPT ME IN LINE.

NOWADAYS THEY CALL ABUSE CALLING A CHILD A "SPOILED ROTTEN BRAT" IN FRONT OF OTHER STUDENTS....

SO EVEN IF CERTAIN TEACHERS DID SPANK A CHILD OR 2, (OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT), THAT IS BEING CLASSIFIED AS CHILD ABUSE, I WOULD SPECULATE THAT THE CHILD DESERVED IT AND THAT IT WAS WAAAAAYYYYYY OVERDUE.

I WOULD GUESS THAT THE ROOT CAUSE OF A TEACHER HAVING TO SPANK A STUDENT, IS BECAUSE SOME SISSY-ASS PARENTS WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN SPANKING THEIR CHILD AT HOME, TEACHING THEM RIGHT FROM WRONG AND TEACHING THEM TO RESPECT, BEFORE THE CHILD ENTERS A SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT... (INSTEAD OF SENDING AN UNCONTROLLABLE, DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE BRAT TO SCHOOL, WHERE HE CAN INTERRUPT AND DISINTEGRATE, THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT MY CHILDREN ARE IN)!

IN MY OPINION, THERE IS A WHOLE BIG LIST OF KIDS THAT NEED THERE ASS WHOOPED, TO TEACH THEM PROPER BEHAVIOR SKILLS AND TO RESPECT ADULTS... I WAS ONE OF THEM, AND I THANK GOD THAT I WAS AROUND ADULTS WHO KNEW I NEEDED IT (WHEN I WAS BEING DISRESPECTFUL AND DISRUPTIVE).... IT TAUGHT ME RESPECT AND SHOWED ME THAT THEIR ARE LIMITATIONS TO THE WAY I SHOULD ACT, IN PUBLIC AND IN SCHOOL.

WITH THAT SAD, IF MY KIDS STEP OUT OF LINE, (WHICH THEY RARELY EVER DO, BECAUSE THEY WERE TRAINED BEFORE SCHOOL), I FULLY SUPPORT MY CHILD'S TEACHERS TO WHACK THEM ON THE BUTT, AND SEND THEM TO THE CORNER (FOR ADDED EMBARRASSMENT), AND THEN, OF COURSE, TALK TO THEM LATER TO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY DID WRONG, AND HOW TO AVOID THE EMBARRASSMENT IN THE FUTURE... THAT IS NOT CHILD ABUSE MY FRIEND THAT IS SOLID TRAINING, AND IF YOU THINK ITS CHILD ABUSE, THEN IT FULLY EXPLAINS YOUR RANT, BECAUSE IT WOULD MERELY CONFIRM THAT YOU WERE ONE OF THIS DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE BRATS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SPANKED (AND UNFORTUNATELY WASN'T).

I ALSO WOULDN'T USE CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS ONGOING TRIALS (INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY), AS A BASIS TO EVALUATE THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION THAT MY CHILDREN ARE RECEIVING. AND FURTHERMORE, I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T EVALUATE THE EDUCATION MY CHILDREN ARE RECEIVING BASED ON THE QUALITY OF THEIR AIR CONDITIONERS... I MEAN SERIOUSLY???

THE SCHOOL IS NOT FAKE, THAT IS A FACT... IT IS JUST THE 'FILIPINO VERSION' OF AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, AND THEY ARE REQUIRED BY THE EDUCATIONAL GOVERNING BODY TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FOREIGN TEACHERS, THAT THEY MUST PROVIDE CONTRACTUAL EVIDENCE OF, BEFORE THEY RECEIVE THEIR YEARLY EDUCATION LICENSE, SO HAVE NO DOUBT, THAT THEY ARE MEETING THE NATIONAL STANDARD.... BELIEVE ME, I CHECKED.

IN CONCLUSION, I FEEL THAT WESTFIELDS DESERVES FAR MORE CREDIT THAN YOU ARE GIVING THEM, AND DOES NOT DESERVE THE DISINFORMATION THAT YOU ARE SPREADING ABOUT THEM ON THE INTERNET, IT JUST SHOWS THAT YOU ARE A SHORT SIGHTED, REACTIVE, AGGRESSIVE INDIVIDUAL, WHO IS TOO LAZY TO EVEN BOTHER TO ACTUALLY DO ANY RESEARCH, BEFORE THEY START RANTING ON INTERNET BLOGS, AS IF YOU ARE "THE GOTO GUY FOR FACTUAL INFORMATION".

MY ADVICE TO YOU, DO YOUR HOMEWORK, BEFORE YOU START BLOGGING, AND DON'T LET WHATEVER PERSONAL NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE, (THAT YOU OBVIOUSLY HAD THERE), INTERFERE WITH TELLING PEOPLE THE GOOD OLD HONEST TRUTH....

JUST MY 2 CENTS... :))

Re: Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

I need to do a significant retraction on my previous post. I taught at Westfields for almost four months. I am from the United States. I am a professional educator with 27 years of experience in teaching chemistry and physics, further I hold a professional certificate to teach in Tennessee. I have taught AP Chemistry and Physics B, so I'm pretty well qualified to do my job. I resigned due to the general lack of integrity of the school. I have never seen such corruption in an academic institution. There is a sign on the front of the school that boasts "Cambridge International Exams". If you see it, understand that its a sign, and that's as far as it goes.

I did volunteer at this school for a short spell. However I am a parent and Never claimed to be a teacher. During my volunteer stint I have seen teachers come and go like a revolving door. The teachers are young local teachers, fresh graduates who earn $250 (paid in peso)a month. Filipinas/Filipinos do not need to go abroad to be exploited, when they can teach at Westfields. Tom D. I would avoid that country. The philipino women have a bad reputation in Hong Kong and China for a reason, they are just out for money.

In kowloon park every sunday they drink beer and wine, despite being "poor". They also have the latest gadgets and phones despite being "bun mui" cantonese slang for maids in HK.

I am tired of hearing the poor filipina story and my life is so hard, give me a break, everyone has hard times......they play the victim card always, while sending small fortunes to their families back home. No desire or interest to teach or visit that country, EVER!!!!!

Re: Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

If you taught in any type of International setting you would clearly realize this is a local private school. They use the word International to attract the ex-pat community that thrives in Angeles city,Pampanga.

By using the word International School they also can charge International school fees $$$.

Many of these expats in that area married a local girl and live off a pension. They are not well educated and cannot afford to send there children to a real International School so they settle on Westfields pretend International School.

The Principal,Vice Principal and Head teacher have an on going criminal court case for falsifying grades and documents. They legally should be on academic probation while waiting for the outcome of there individual cases.

As they say: Only in the Philippines!

Re: Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

I just finished doing a teaching demo at Westfields, and from what I saw, the school is nothing like what is represented in this post. The rooms were cool, the kids were bright and enthusiastic, the facilities are clean and orderly, and you could tell they have been taught well. I really enjoyed the experience. I am an American teacher with 27 years of experience, so I have a pretty good understanding of what an effective school looks like.

Same old wumao behavioural pattern, excessively stereotypical English real name, seeks to discredit original poster, bigs oneself up with questionable unproven credentials. Shame that this tactic doesn't really work on forums dominated by Western people though.

Re: Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

All of the teachers at westfeilds are young local Philipinos. I believe at least 60% of the staff should be overseas certified teachers from there home country to be a truly accredited International school.

Have a look at (NIS) Noblese International School,Pampanga.Or visit BRENT International School,Subic (they provide a school bus from Pampanga.) Those are International schools. They both are WASC accredited and have a IB program recognized world wide at International schools.

Westfields does NOT provide a IB program and is Not WASC accredited, and never employs International educators or administration, perhaps with the exception of a non-qualified volunteer white face parent or two.Westfields is Not a real International school, hands down.

Westfield International School Pampanga, Philippines

Westfields International School is not a REAL International school. They only teach up to grade 10 then students must further there education elsewhere. The teachers are all local Filipino teachers which means they graduated in the 10th grade (16 yrs old) The school has bad facilities run down, aircons that blow hot air. The Principal Vice Principal and head teacher have a on going court case (at Pampanga regional Trial Court,Pampanga) over fraud documents, changing grades and child abuse.
Do not send your child to this school unless you want them to learn the Filipino language by crappy exploited, miserable teachers.

Westfields Pampanga, Philippines is a FAKE school.
