Hit and miss:

Positives - amazing local staff in the office. The centre manager helped me a lot and would do anything to help you (even if you don't get along!), she will always support you and try to help you in any way she can! She looked after me so much when I was there. The school work was easy, I didn't really need to prep anything - just from the books, so I had weekends free to do what I wanted. Almaty is a strange place, but you grow to love it whilst also hating it. Danashym school is much better and the teachers will usually try to help you.

Negatives - some of the most disrespectful and worst behaved students I have ever met in a school called 'Keleshek'; one child even called another teacher a bitch in Russian. The director believes she is the best person in the world - she is a moron - all about making as much money as possible. The timetabling is just ridiculous, it took them two months to have a set schedule when I was there - I sometimes received phonecalls one hour before my lessons were due to start - terribly annoying.

Overall, I loved and hated it. I loved my friends there and most of the people I met, but I hated the work and the school. The best way is to try and form a work relationship with the other staff, and they will try to help you when they can. But do not trust any of the teachers in the school - they will often expose your weaknesses to make themselves look better. The teachers hate that you earn more than them, and will do anything for more money - screwing you over being very likely.

I miss the place, and I am sure I will return.
