The school is trying to get accreditation for Advanced Ed and IB, the Foreign Principal and ESL Manager have high standards for their Foreign and Chinese staff as they are trying to get this accreditation. Be prepared for long hours of work, day starts with classes at 730am, you can leave the office at 5pm. On the weekends you might be working on your own free time, doing various different tasks for your classes and for your IB training sessions. There are a variety of students ranging from low to high level as well as International Students. The apartment they provide if you decide not to take the housing stipend, is a basic dorm style apartment with a bed, desk, and bathroom/shower. Gets very dusty very quickly. The pollution overall in Beijing is pretty bad. All in all this school is okay but there will be a lot of work to do, hence the high salaries they are offering, be prepared also for detailed emails of your teaching performance, and lots of lesson plans to be done, 2 weeks in advance lesson plans. If you are looking for a work-life balance job, this may not be school you are looking for.
