Light-hearted digs are all very well. However, there are a number of westerners posting misinformation as well as pretending to be in the know about various issues that only the Chinese authorities know about. Likely, they are from 'spam valley' in their homelands.

'Spam valley', by the way is a mythical suburban private housing estate comprising semi-detached villas and mainly occupied by upper working class or lower middle class wanna-bes who are mortgaged to the hilt and so can only afford spam, which is cheap tinned pork, as their daily food!
