I reckon you're so lucky you're not still teaching/deeching in China. Coz, if u were, you'd probably be without accessible funds to exit before your visa expired and no new DECENT job offer was on the table to solve your problem.

Then, you'd be forced to accept a job offer (if indeed one was forthcoming?) that would entail you teaching illegally in order to skimp and save on the cash necessary to exit at the end of your 'new' illegal contract, provided you got away with your new illegal employment. Problem is, if you're nabbed teaching illegally during it, you'll be in a real jam.

There are even old native speakers of English/Geordie in China with Chinese spouses, willing to work FOR rubbishy training centres coz they are soo greedy/bored/strapped for cash. If found out, they'll be severely dealt with.

SO, YOU SHOULD COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS YOU'RE NOT STILL TEACHING/DEECHING IN CHINA, AND FONDLY LOOK BACK ON YOUR 11 YEARS IN BAOTOU/HOTHOT AS A CHAMPION EXPERIENCE THAT CANNOT BE REPLICATED DUE TO CHINA'S STRINGENT NEW VISA REGULATIONS FOR FTs!
