I worked at this school for over a year, not that the conditions were terrible, but I was unhappy and decided to leave. To get straight to the piont, my last salary didn't get paid to me. The agreement that was made between me and the owner changed 4 times in the space of 10days, as she saw fit or as her mood changed.

Its really sad because there are great people working at this school, but at the end of the day the owner calls the shots and it doesn't matter how great the people are, if the owner isn't trust worthy then you have a big problem, a specially when you want to leave. Its almost like they expect you to stay and never leave unless they are ready to let you go.

They seem to think that you as a foreigner can be pressured and pushed to do what they want but when it comes down to giving you what you are owed for work done, excuses are made not to give you what you are owed.

I am not the first or the last foreign teacher that went through this. In the space if 1 year most of the foreign teachers(about 10 out of 13) left because of the owners poor management skills and even poorer people skills.

The best part is that most of the people who left, left on a bad note.

It's really sad to think that you can find work but if you want to leave(for your own growth or personal reasons) you are punished and treated badly, instead of being treated in a fair way.
