Haha, I made a typo sympathising with him about his trasnslation from Latvian.

Maybe those blokes in Tianjin were hand in glove with rhat school. Or I could have been joking.

Personally I didn't see your misquote 'it smells to heaven' as any more than a typo, but as usual he was in there for a feeding frenzy with Turnoi on the menu.

You have misquoted Turnoi. He had said ' It stinks to heaven'! He should have said 'It stinks to high heaven'!

Turnoi being a man of the cloth should have got it right, don't you think?

More importantly, he and I do agree that Yu ming of Tianjin is a disreputable agent. However, you and a likely dogsbody of said agent, 'Kevin', both sing its praises. It's worth mentionong that there is a long thread on ESLTB comprising many negative posts about Yu ming.

BTW, when Glasgow folk say 'You ming' they mean 'You stink'! I'd go along with that meaning in the case of said agent!

I can see your point. However, as another poster as point out, you had a typo or even a mistake when misspelling "competant" and confusing "complement" with "compliment". Is it perhhaps the case that Ivan The Horrible and Obingo from Africa do noot have these misspellings in their written English that they are given preference over you in being hired? Either way, I wish you well and hope you do not end up at oine of these terrible training centres; they are ALL crap!

It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, and I am glad that my errors have created some harmony and agreement between you and the poster to whom you refer. He normally amuses himself considerably taking the rise out of your mistakes as he sees them. Personally I didn't see your misquote 'it smells to heaven' as any more than a typo, but as usual he was in there for a feeding frenzy with Turnoi on the menu.

I have announced that because 'the- to- whom- poster' has experience of illegally working in China (not him personally but experience of others) he managed to scare me off of certainly doing so in his Shanxi-work-patch. In any event I do not own a degree to apply for work. Perhaps 'the-to-whom-poster' could advise me where he got his?

Thanks for wishing me luck Turnoi, but it's luck as a househusband I need. The wife has got a job to start tomorrow, 3300 yuan per month ,holding back another 700 yuan each month until she finishes her contract.
