So, it's only fair that I update everyone. I did make a very rash and probably quite an illiterate post here yesterday. (Through pure frustration), However, after I left a rather disgruntled message with Angie yesterday, and still no sign of payment for my initial training -I've now been paid.

Angie was extremely rude and defensive after my initial message. She started slagging me off about my teaching abilities and even criticising the teachers on here, before telling me she had lots of happy teachers working for her company. Now, whether this is true or not, I don't know. She is very"Chinese" in her thinking and behaviour. She's trying to save face and I understand that mentality, having lived in China for a year. I obviously don't condone it, nor would I ever recommend this company to anyone looking for a stable, or even second part-time income.

They are extremely disorganised and tend to blame others for their own mistakes. I politely told Angie that I would be happy to report her company to the Chinese Education department in Beijing the next time I was there. I have good friends in Beijing (all Chinese) in high powered positions. I believe this was one of the main reasons why I received payment swiftly this morning. No company should treat teachers this way, online or otherwise. I still cannot believe they expected me to do a "fun and upbeat" lesson at 4am in the morning....I should have left there and then but I stayed and now I've been paid for my trouble at least.

Good Luck to the other teachers who are still waiting to be paid....if you're looking for a good online company I highly recommend Elf-English.ru in Moscow. I worked for them for 3 years. Pay is always on time and very fair with teachers.
