Yep, I have a true story to relate about a Filipina married to a Dane, a dairy engineer with a small cafe in Hohhot. She was an educated woman with good English who had previously been an office manager in HK. There she had met a Scottish soldier, and quickly fallen pregnant to him. He was married to a Scots girl, and had two children of his own. He was not interested in divorcing her. The Filipna went back to Manila with her baby daughter. The baby stayed there with the Filipina woman's mother. The Filipina woman returned to HK, and later to Baotou, where she happened to meet a Dane at a KTV joint. He was drunk as a lord there the night they met. She ensured he got home in one piece, and stayed the night there. Subsequently, they became lovers, and a baby was on the way! He did the honorable thing, and proposed to her. They got married. The Chinese who worked for her all said bad things about her, their worst criticism was that she was mean to them!
