Beware of an agency called ICL Education Group, aka, ICL Business Group, aka, Broadway Education. They are identifiable as a New Zealand agency, based in China. They are not reliable with what they promise and what is written in their contract. (They use the fact that you being a foreigner in China gives them have the upper-hand.) They do not always provide you with consistent and adequate shelter. (You will sometimes have to stay in a cheap hotel room on "the promise of being reimburse.") Watch out for a clause in their contract, that states they can dismiss you at any time when business is bad. When they don't need you, they will not pay you what is owed to you per the contract, such as your holiday bonus. (Same goes for covering any doctor's or hospital bill you might have. Be careful of delays here, such as "the account forgetting to include it in this month’s pay.")

Most of the students they give you are not part of the regular school. They are rich kids, who were excluded from the classroom due to a complete lack of interest in academic studies, were failing, and whose parents paid the school to set up a special separate class to keep them enrolled. Meanwhile, they spend their time ignoring you by surfing the net on their smart phones, which no Chinese teacher or administrator cares enough to take away from them. (I know this is a cliché of sorts, but teaching them is like having a vampire suck out the life force from you only to have to get up the next day and experience it all over again.)

Watch out for their recruiter, Steven Zheng! He is a used car salesman! Simple enough, he will promise you whatever you ask without checking on whether it is true or if he can deliver on it. (He will recruit you under the guise of teaching a simple oral English class.)
