By the way I have discovered good teaching material. Me and the girl watched 'Postman Pat' yesterday- bloody good North of England stuff...they even have the seemingly obligatory Scot, Mrs Goggins the postmistress. Pat goes on adventures ,like 'The runaway kite' and all good simple stuff for your students.

I do remember this cartoon. Unfortunately in the PC mad uk, under brussels diktat, he would not be allowed to have a black and white cat anymore, presumably it would have to be an african or arabic speaking cat, or simply a black or white cat, but not both. Was the scot the atypically thunderous looking hard drinking scotsman of yore, or a much nicer chap? I do wonder...
