I agree with what you are saying but having met some jews/Israelis I honestly did not find them to play the victim card as much as say africans or the chinese. In more or less 50 years they turned swampland/desert which they inherited from being a former british colony and previously arab territory into a hub of hitech and science in the middle east....something even Dubai has been unable to do despite all that oil/cargo/tourism revenue. I'd say jews have more a habit of getting on with it and not really blaming others too much, whereas the Chinese, esp that chinese foreign minister seem to never stop bleating about injustices, perceived rightly/wrongly, past or present.
