You don't know Pattaya very well. Some ex-pats there are loaded with dosh, other are not. The wealthy ones there can easily out spend any China ex-pats.

Pattaya attracts a various cross-section of foreigners. Not all of them hang out at the bars also, some never go near the bars and clubs.
