Berkeley Language School is a small Christian Academy located in Haeundae, Busan, Korea on the Green Subway Line ext 5. The school is in a really great location along with the teachers accommodations. The kind kids of that school's are great treat, but you do get some bad ones if you're lucky.

The school Director however, is a vicious person. Christian? yes she claims to be a really good christian but does noting good that a christian is suppose to do. She doe not respect the contract that has been signed. She can, will and does change the contract to meet her needs throughout the year. so every thing that you were promised in the beginning of the year gets pretty much snatched from you.

Don't expect to be paid on time, (apparently she never has any money to pay her teachers, but her kids are walking in to school with new bikes, skateboards, new phones, and going abroad to study in the USA, Philippines, going on vacations on teachers pay regularly) wonder where she gets the money for all that. Every month close to pay day don't expect the director to stick around, she will be "sick" all of a sudden and won't answer any phone calls or messages.

Don't expect to get pension (illegal), she''l deduct your Tax and will pocket it for herself. she'll play with your vacation days, too.

Except to get fired in your first week in this school. She has no respect for teacher. She will shout and be little you in front of everyone. She puts on a nice act when visitors or parents are about.

Don't get lured in to that crap. My one year with her was horrible beyond all reasons. it's been over 3 years i still haven't received my Severance pay which i was promised. she has been trying to delete all the posts/reviews all the teachers have left and have succeeded and many new teachers fall into her prey. Keep away from this school/director. Do your research. The teachers korean and foreigners are great co workers but don't expect anyone to stick up for you when she is tearing you apart.
