However, it would be consistent with Turnoi's position as a bishop in The Church of England to support the spreading of the good word, even at a Chinese place of learning. I think Turnoi is one of the new breed of religious Christian leaders who don't see the need to believe in what they are supposed to be flogging. Like this bloke and a former Bishop in East Anglia.

I think his reading skills ain't the best. He misread one of my previous posts in this thread. I know this coz his reply to my post was completely out of kilter with that post. However, I did agree with the content of his unrelated reply, so that's wot I stated when I replied to that post.

It's a fact that many non-native speakers of English can't match educated native speakers of English when it comes to reading comprehension skills!

Sometimes he comes across as a rather haughty individual who resents being contradicted. He can be extremely rude and elitist at times! When he's cornered during a debate, he conveniently vanishes into thin air.

That said, some of what he posts is useful for FTs/potential FTs. The problem is he will let his personal dislikes of some posters override the need to be truthful and supportive of topics being discussed!
