I mean, when have the Arabs been capable of anything but making deserts and disagreements hahaha!

Interesting that this discussion keeps popping up on here, I don't really have an opinion either way, but from what I know about Islam in general, they would not share your view of having made the deserts themselves, disagreements may well be something they (the arabs) have caused, but things relating to geography and nature (in western thought!) would be viewed as created by allah, much as some christians would view that the world was made in 7 days by a creator (allah, god, or perhaps jehovah if one is a witness?). Not actually sure what JW's believe one hundred percent, but I think they view things a bit differently than "the people of the book", ie, christians, jews, muslims. Perhaps someone else can advise, either way, I am not really bothered, C of E, but none practising.
