I would recommend to stay away from this University. Joanna Zhao (currently working for the department of HR) invited me to have an interview for a teaching position about 1 month and half ago. Everything was fine and it was supposed she would tell me something after 2 days. No messages...I called her back and she ignored me. After a month, she called me back offering me again the position. This time we reached an agreement: she formally invited me to take the position and also she sent me the contract. Then I asked a couple of questions about the University. Again, she ignored me for no reason (I know this since she is connected on Skype, where we used to talk, and still refuse to respond my messages and emails). My best guess: she found a more suitable canditate (even though after getting a commitment with me since she sent me the contract to sign). So I find the department of HR very unprofessional and the Jilin International University a joke of institution since Joanna Zhao is still working there.
