I worked for RISE Immersion English for 2 years in Shanghai, China. After 2 years of hard work I told them I would be returning home, they asked me if I could help them recruit a new teacher for my position and that they would pay me a 2000 RMB bonus, I did so and quickly found them a replacement, I then returned to England. I have just received a message from the HR saying that they will not pay me for finding a replacement as I had now left the company, even though I found the replacement while I was still working at the school. The teaching manager is also telling me that I will not receive all the money I am owed from the school. The only reason they are saying this is because I am no longer in China and am unable to defend myself or confront them properly to collect my money. They are just another penny grabbing training center that will be pleasant and fake to your face and then stab you in the back the second they see it safe for them to do so.
