Happy New Year to you also. I don't want to advise your friend not to work abroad. If she really wants to do it she should go ahead. Just don't use an agency/recruiter to find employment . Also, never go to another country and work on a tourist visa. Can get yourself in very serious trouble these day as many nations especially in Asia are strictly enforcing visa requirements.

I will say once again: I do not encourage anyone to use recruiters because of their bad reputation.
Anyone who uses recruiters or agents to get a job is at risk of being used and abused. Same applies to accepting a job offer that requires him or her to enter a country on a tourist visa rather than a work visa.
You've given good advice. If someone chooses to ignore it, and ends up in a bad situation, that's just too bad!

Certainly I won't point the way as I am an honest person with integrity and morals who does not lie.
No, I've never heard of this guy before but I know plenty of bad agencies and recruiters.
People get into recruiting either because they are losers or because they are lazy and don't want to do an honest days work.
Tell your friend to forget about this job. There are plenty of others and SHE DOES NOT NEED TO USE AN AGENCY!

The schools themselves may have no English website, but once you have a phone number, you can be sure that they'll have an English speaking member of staff. Just go on Wikipedia, find a list of Chinese universities and you'll have hundreds of possible job opportunities at your fingertips, even when a job isn't advertised.

Tell her to apply direct to a college or university. You can never trust recruiters, they are liars and scammers who just want a commission.
No need to use an agency, apply for jobs yourself directly to the school.
A lot of people have got themselves in serious shit in Asia by using agencies to find work.
There have been hundreds of negative stories posted on this board alone over the years in regard
to recruiters.
