In response to English world in Inner Mongolia (Ptoni)

Advertising jobs specifically to Filipinos and/or Africans seems to be a bad sign. Some schools target these groups on the assumption that they are often hard to place in jobs, and will work for lower wages and be more accepting of poor treatment and conditions than will their Western counterparts. I haven't heard the story of this particular school, but there have been some truly terrible stories out of other such schools.

There are also numerous stories of recruiting companies operating, particularly, in the Philippines that are pretty much selling workers there (English teachers, factory workers, and others) into something like indentured servitude in China. Of course, such places pipeline teachers directly into the worst examples of the schools described above.

We all gotta be careful. But if you're Filipino or African (excluding white South Africans), I'm afraid this goes double for you.
