Turnip, having shown proof that you were the author of that particular phrase here on this forum, your continual efforts to blame another, i.e. me, is further evidence of your mendacious personality.
Almost all of your copious submissions, including those heavy with plagiarism, will be read by those with genuine credentials with more than a deal of scepticism.

In my ignorance, I frequently refer to the Oxford English Dictionary. The copy I have clearly indicates that using "waiste" is correct in a phrase like "a waiste of time", and you should NOT write "waste" instead.
Until you prove me wrong, I will happily continue to write "waiste of time"
