SCHOOLS AND RECRUITERS REVIEWS

I have just completed a contract at IMAU. It was a great experience but ended on a sour note. My classes were large but that was fine. The students were great. The main problem is the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO). If you go there you will teach reading comprehension, writing, and oral English. The ad says just oral but that is not true. The writing classes require you to mark lots of homework. You do not get paid for the extra work. I tried for 6 weeks to get my resident permit put into my new passport but the FAO did nothing. When I signed a new contract, they again did nothing to arrange my new resident permit, even knowing I wanted to leave on holidays. Now, I no longer work for them. They also tried to deduct money from my airfare payment but I got that back. If you go there, the teaching will be fun but beware of lies and deceit in other areas. They can say whatever they like about me but 500 students and teachers cannot be wrong. I got positive feedback and made some good friends there. I did not want to leave but was forced out. I wish you a good experience if you go there. Contact me if you would like to know more about the school.
