I was the very first teacher, along with my then boyfriend, for Kids Herald when that school opened. After 7 months I had a kidney infection that IV drugs didn't touch, so I asked for 1 week to go back to the US to be hopsitalized. They fired me for leaving, but didn't tell me until after I was back in Korea. They forced me to leave the school without even the opportunity to say goodbye. They owed both of us a lot of money, they were unsympathetic to the point of being inhumane, and I've always felt bad that the people who were hired after us were friends of ours. Sorry, guys!! This school was a blacklist classic.
