Yes, a life would be nice. I guess that we have the wrong idea about each other then. Rest assured you will never hear me go on about how qualified I am. I love teaching, and I love being in China, but you have to admit, this is a bitchy, and often negative forum.
As to humour, if telepathic crocodiles have them laughing in the aisles then my apologies for finding it juvenile, I admit that it was just beyond my grasp. Morose git that I am.
Also, I did miss a few of the posts about Yuncheng IELTS: It may be because I work outside of Yuncheng that I have had a better experience than others, but when I attended the annual meeting, there were more than twenty-five teachers there, all of whom lived in Yuncheng, and none of us had a bad word to say about them. True. Also, my assistant is terrific at her job, and if that includes assessing my abilities and conduct for the company,('spying' as you may put it) then she's good at that too.
I live alone in a two bedroom apartment, it's not the nicest apartment I've ever lived in, but I'm never hassled, and get on well with my neighbours. I don't have a microwave, but one was never promised to me.
Teaching English in Korea pays more than in China, and it is a democratic country. Schools are well-financed and short of teachers. Why teach in China if you don't enjoy it, or are dissatisfied with the agencies, recruiters, schools, authorities, assistants etc. I'm in Korea at the moment, having just finished two months of summer school, and am returning to China next weekend, to work in the same school, for the same company, and live in the same aprtment.
Anyway, once again, my apologies for not getting your sense of humour and stereotyping you both.
