I'm glad to hear that someone else is on to the nastiness of many of these C-teacher 'assistants'. There would seem that an unspoken animosity exists between themselves and any FT they decide they instantly don't like. After crossing paths with more than a few of this kind, I decided that it's really in my best interest to avoid, avoid, avoid. Even then, I would be wondering if they're trying to cook up some scheme to get me in hot water.

About the ICR school, my feeling is certainly mixed but only because of directors like Kristen and owners like her Singaporean colleague. If it were my school, I'd leave the program largely intact. It was the administration's outright greed and contempt for anyone that they felt would impede their access to money that was a real turn off. I remember seeing Kristen practically running down a tiny student in the hallway whose tuition money hadn't been paid yet.

Nonetheless, I felt that I had a reasonable chance to finish a contract there. It's a lesson that regardless how sound a given school's system is, bad management will find ways to screw it up. Hope you learn someday, Kristen and Co.
