Yes, Silverboy. You do have the right to opine about what the economic down turn means in terms of wages for FTs in China. When it comes to the economy it's all about opinions anyway. Moreover, what may seem logical today may not seem so tomorrow. In short, the talking heads will smother us with data and predictions based on a myriad of factors, yet, no matter how erudite their rhetoric may seem, we'll all still be living in a world of economic uncertainty for a long time to come. So, we take it as it comes, but fortunately some things actually are predictable.

One thing's for certain. People still want to learn English. So far, I haven't seen or heard anything that would indicate lower wages are coming for qualified FTs in China. English is still big business. Demand is still high for teachers. Recruiters are popping out of the woodwork with regularity. Most are dishonest. Some are not. Private training centers are opening with the same regularity. Many of them, if not most, are ill run. Some administrators that run these mills are well aware that they are not providing much of a return for the money. Others are not aware of it. Some of them employ "teachers" who have no business being in a classroom of any kind. Others try to ensure that their staff is professional. Nothing new about any of this; therefore, I'm stating the obvious.

Just as obvious is the right for posters here to question the accuracy of your statements or the statements of any other poster here. You and your few buddies here who have a problem with objectivity should take into consideration that just because someone questions you it doesn't give you the right to brand them as apologists. You guys love that word. Seemingly, you believe that anyone who disagrees with you, or reaches a point where they recognize the sweeping nature of your generalities, should be given a label. Truthfully, it's not even a good label. It doesn't fit, not even in a colloquial sense. It's a pretty word, I'll give you that. Unfortunately, flamboyance is not your strong suit. Better stick to the facts, dude.
