Beware of this guy currently advertising for part-time teachers in Zhengzhou. I have dealt with him before and he simply wants everything for nothing - at your expense of course.

His rates currently stated, equate to just short of RMB:50 per hour for teaching - which in his case is 58 minutes(RMB100 for 115 minutes). Whereas the going rate for pert-time native speaking English teachers in Zhengzhou is AT LEAST RMB:100 per teaching hour of 45 minutes. (I know this - I live in Zhengzhou)

His location is near the Zhengzou Technology Market which is out on on the edge of the city centre in the northern suburbs. If you live in that area then your travelling time and costs may be manageable but from elsewhere in Zhengzou you have a lengthy journey - and in the evenings it will be even more lengthy due to the chronic rush hour traffic - The bus fares per day can amount to around RMB 10 to 15 per day at least - and if you use a taxi, it will be approaching RMB 50/- per day probably more. And all you will be paid is RMB:100 or maybe RMB 200 if you have the time or strength to do 4 hours work (2 classes) when you arrive. Possibly - though I cannot be certain - he may only use your services when you arrive for work IF there are enough students' bums on seats to make it worth his while - if not, you may be turned away with no pay or offered a lower rate - ask him about this and find out. Ask him who pays your travelling costs too! Oh! and by the way - he doesn't like questions that make him feel cornered.

This is a truly cheap and nasty offer from a man who cannot accept the realities of his business. Cheap and nasty offers almost always are accompanied by cheap and nasty attitudes towards just about everything else.

Avoid this guy - you can earn more money quite easily if you shop around a little.
