Wow, is all I can say to you.

While I will not even pretend to care about whether most of what you stated was true or not about the topic at hand, I did want to respond to one thing out of that novel of defensiveness and negativity you posted a few days ago. Reach2Teach.

First of all, the owner is from New York, Second in line is from the UK, 3rd is from Boston, 4th is from Missouri. In fact, I can name only one person there that is from Canada and they are on the interview team. And yes, I know everyone there. Why? They recruited me, placed me in an excellent school, and even asked to come on board their interview team a while back. I no longer work there, but my respect for their business practices and genuine concern still exists.

Second, numbers? What Numbers? Never have I heard them boast anything about numbers. However, they will boast about about fairly evaluating applicants as well schools on a number of factors. Schools - reputation of how they treat foreigners, facilities and resources...they will even speak with administration and staff alike to get their points of view on the schools practices. And yes, they do reject applicants, and they do reject schools. Everyone there was a teacher at one point, and they know the nature of the business.

Get your facts straight if you're goign to trash other companies, and make sure it is true, first. I think a simple internet search will yield about 95% positive reviews about the organization, give or take 5%.

Now, let's talk about your company, Go2teachEnglish. I have never heard of you. Dewey, IACC, Footprints...yes, heard of them. And 2 of them are respectable organizations as well. Very respectable in fact. I think it shows what kind of business practices you have, when you go around slandering other recruiting services like you have just done to all of those other organizations. I am willing to bet that you cleverly disguise a job offer as an interview. We will place any teacher in any school, just so long as we get paid, right?

Also, you mentioned that you fight for your teachers. Can't recall ever having been faced with that situation. I think that may be a sign that you use questionable schools in the first place. But hey, I don't know. Sure, it happens...you can't expect 100% satisfaction, but to have to make a point of it leads me to believe it happens to you guys more than it should.

Based on what i've seen from your post, you started off defending your position. Good for you, no problem defending an injustice (much like I felt obligated to do, as well), if that is even the case. However, you spent the other 95% slandering other recruiters and advertising your own company. You even stated that you told people to F*** off. Very professional.

Note: Sorry for the Hijacking of the thread, but it was first hijacked by Paul.
