Actually, my degree is in Elementary Education, thank you. Biology and Chemistry? Not hardly! I teach what I know and that is the fundamentals learned by primary-aged kids. If I even tried to pick up and teach from a Chemistry book, I'd get blown out of the water. I barely held my own in my college Chemistry class.

Justin? Don't know him - - met him I think once.

Jason? Do you mean the Jason that came in (when he came in at all) with stubble on his face, slovenly and hungover on a Wednesday morning because he was out till 2AM drinking? Maybe he was disco dancing! Oh yeah, he was a "teacher" of 1st grade students. There's a role model for you.

Andy? Do you mean the Andy that was a partner-in-crime to Jason who taught his Kindergarten students "Heil Hitler" during an English lesson and chuckled gleefully when he recounted the story at an employee's gathering?

StephanieB? Do you mean the man who is masquerading as a French woman? Well, I've already covered this one and I have no desire for another go-'round about him. Did you know that "StephaineB" (note I'm not using his real name as a courtesy) actually claimed to have known Jason from another school down in Guangzhou and had the same kind of drunken horror stories that I recounted to him in one of our conversations? I know good ol' "Steph" is feeding you the info based on brief discussions I had with him so please don't pretend you actually "know" all these people and if you DO know them and hang out with this kind of crowd, well, then I pity a school that may have you as a teacher!

Yeah, schools can certainly make mistakes, one of the biggest is some choices of new hires (and their subsequent placement in the school). But one always has to assume the best until they are shown the contrary. Usually I can spot 'em within a week or two.
