Since you say that you are capable of discernment, DPP, I have no reason to doubt you. However, it's obvious that you don't exercise that discernment when it comes to making a determination of this kind. Nor has your post illustrated the similarities of my writing and that of Kevin's that have helped you reach a conclusion, which, in this case, despite your ability to discern, is simply wrong. Okay, I won't fault you for that. We all make mistakes, even when we're doing something we're quite good at.

But I'm curious about something. Who are the "many" who have noticed these damning similarities between our posts? Must be the silent majority and you are somehow able to tap into their consciousness. Pretty good skill. I guess you've got that third eye thing going on. Okay, you're psychically endowed, and I'm sure that's quite nice for you; however, even psychics, being human, still miss the mark sometimes. Could it be, though, since your own writing skills need a considerable amount of honing, that you are merely focusing on the fact that Kevin and I seem to make fewer errors in our writing than what you are used to seeing? Think about it. Wouldn't that account for the similarities you speak of?

Now, I won't point out all the writing errors in your own posts, DPP, but you should be aware that they are numerous. Punctuation seems to be your biggest problem, so with a little work it shouldn't be too difficult for you to make advances that would make you appear to be more qualified as an English instructor. Typos I can ignore, and of course allowances have to be made for hastily written posts, too. After all, we're all human.

"Such is human-nature. The man who drinks beer at home always criticizes the champagne, and finds fault with the Burgundy when he is invited out to dinner."
Mark Twain
