Hallelujah, brother! I'd love to see more adherence to the rule of law in China. I'd also love to see FTs "step up, take responsibility for their actions and pay for past sins."

Keep it fair, keep it balanced.

Maybe I should have some of my students start posting here. They'll make it quite clear how they feel about their parents forking out piles of dough for the opportunity to have their children taught by "highly trained foreign teachers." As my students will tell you, and as they've told me because I have a reputation as a student advocate, they are quite dissappointed that such a scenario is rarely the case; that is, they've so far encountered very few "highly trained foreign teachers." Too late though, no refunds at Chinese colleges.

Currently, one of my rather bright students is writing an expose of EFL in China. He hopes to have it published in English and Chinese. I hope it does get published, and I hope you'll take the time to read it. It will probably not be worth your time though; there won't be anything about fashion in it - no pictures either.
