Oy vey! Alright, already!
I was quite annoyed, offended in fact that someone called Sir Duke a "drunkard," and continued to slam his integrity and credibility, and so I posted "In praise of Raoul Duke." I had NO IDEA such a string of spew (by some) would result.

Now it's come 'round to poster "AMonk" who was one of the expats at Raoul's Saloon who was always a joy to converse with and who always offered an intelligent, thoughtful perspective (even if we disagreed at times). AMonk has so much to offer others who are seeking understanding/and or coping techniques with cultural, social, "academic" and employment frustration. SHE is fantastic and a kind colleague to all!
