Silverboy,

Yes he does have a PH D, he lectures weekly at one of China's most prestigious universities Jiao Tong University.

You mention you applied for a position and never had a reply. Based on this you are then able to call somebody a liar, deceiving and a parasite.

I'm sure he gets a lot of resumes for a few positions that are available at the school, perhaps it is wrong that he does not have an automated rejection letter that he sends out to people who have not got the position but I still do not think it warrants the kind of abuse that you are very liberally dishing out, it also raises personal doubts concerning the other persons/companies you have critisised with little or no evidence to back up your claims.

I am well aware that it is sometimes more difficult for non Caucasian people to land teaching positions in China, whether this is a direct reflection on the individuals in question or the general societies perception of how an English teacher should look like is a topic that has been regulary debated.

We must also remember that a recruiter or HR office is obliged to provide the school with the teachers that the school requests. The school will care very little about the recruiters personal views regarding nationality or race.

I wish every body the best wishes for experiences in China.

Sincerely,

Michael Shaw
