1. The almighty photo: Korean bosses put no thought or emphasis on whether or not you have good qualifications, experience or a genuine desire to do the job. All they really care about is your looks.

2. Korean schools rarely have an expat DoS (they don't even know what a DoS is). You are constantly under the thumb of some dumb boss who has no clue what he/she is doing.

3. Korean teachers who work at schools, RARELY speak any English......at an English school. This makes them insecure and unpleasent work with.
