If it is a crap university, you should definitely avoid it. But a uni is definitely not only crap based on the fact that they hire illiterate FTs; there must be some more. And mostly, the fact that they would hire illiterate FTs is due to that "some more" - it's mostly a result of the latter!

As you say above, we can't be absolutely certain it's a crap university, but nevertheless my advice would be not to risk it for a biscuit!
